On this occasion we want to present the 3M Heat Transfer Liquid Novec 7100, available in a 33 Lb (15 Kg) drum.
3M Novec 7100 is a proprietary hydrofluoroether from 3M.
It is a clear, colorless and low odor technical fluid formulated as a replacement for ozone depleting substances and high global warming potential (GWP) compounds for many applications.
Its unique properties make it useful for a wide variety of industries. Its high boiling point and excellent environmental, health and safety profile make it useful as a heat transfer fluid, cleaning solvent, lubricant application and many more applications (including preservation of biological specimens).
The high boiling point and low surface tension of Novec™ 7100 fluid make it ideal for use in vapor degreasing applications as a net (neat) azeotrope component or as a co-solvent parts cleaner.
In addition, its chemical and thermal stability, non-flammability, and low toxicity make it useful for many other industrial and specialty solvent applications.
