REFLECTIVE ADHESIVE TAPE WHITE/RED LEVEL II – APPROVED FOR CRANE SIGNAGE
We present a new line of reflective adhesive tape for cranes. These are several 3M references suitable for the labeling of Roadside Assistance Vehicles, Public Roadside Assistance Vehicles or more commonly known as Cranes, according to the new applicable regulations.
Royal Decree 159/2021, of March 16, which regulates assistance services on public roads, provides that “Assistance vehicles on public roads will be equipped with retro-reflective badges (…), on one third of the surface available front, side and rear of the assistance vehicle, depending on its configuration”

REFLECTIVE ADHESIVE TAPE LEVEL 2, 3M 823i
The 823i Series Prismatic Flexible Metallic Retroreflective sheeting for vehicle markings is designed for retroreflective markings on vehicles; typically security marking applications.
This tape complies with Table 4 of the EN 12899-1:2007 standard for Class RA2 materials (Table A), for white. In addition, it also complies with the specifications for retroreflective sheets for vehicle markings defined in the General Vehicle Regulations, RD 2822/1998 (Level 2).

HIGH INTENSITY REFLECTIVE ADHESIVE TAPE, SERIES 3410
The High Intensity Prismatic Flexible retroreflective sheet Series 3410, pre-printed or printed according to DIN 30710, is designed for vehicle safety markings.
The High Intensity Prismatic Flexible retroreflective sheet Series 3410 complies with the photometric requirements specified for Class 2 in the UNE EN 12899-1 Standard and the General Vehicle Regulations, BOE January 23, 2010; signal V2 (Vehicle Obstacle on the road), according to the Technical Report issued by the L.C.O.E. (Official Central Electrotechnical Laboratory).

TAPE APPLICATION REFLECTIVE ADHESIVE TAPE FOR CRANES
- Clean the substrate, prior to application, using a cloth and Isopropyl alcohol.
- Check substrate temperature
- Check that the ambient temperature at the time of application remains within a range of 16º to 30ºC (never lower than 10º C).
- Carry out the application paying attention to the pressure, which should be 1-2 kg/cm2 and uniform over the entire surface
- Do not stretch the sheet during its application
- Do not overlap markings.
- Cut the sheet around screws, rivets and joints, between seams and overlaps.
- Do not subject the applied surface to sudden changes in temperature immediately after applying the marking. The recommendation is 24 hours.
- If the application is to be made on an unknown substrate, adhesion tests must be done beforehand.
