3M products for road safety

3M products for horizontal signs
Today, however, we bring you a novelty in our catalog, such as 3M products for horizontal signage.
In addition to the well-known 3M Stamark tapes for horizontal pavement marking, and speed reducers, we present the 3M Series 290 Reflectors, and the 3M Series 340 delineation systems for steel and concrete barriers.
3M™ Reflector Series 290, CE marked
Reflectors made of a durable, lightweight thermoplastic that provide long-lasting, highly effective visibility, especially at night and in wet weather.
The reflectors can be applied on asphalt surfaces and concrete roads, in regions without the use of snowplows, offering effective and long-lasting visibility, thanks to their lenses that are highly resistant to impacts and abrasion, as they have shown in field tests, required to obtain the CE marking.
These “cat eyes” are impact resistant and increase visibility with added effect. In addition, they provide a sound effect for added security.
3M Reflectors are manufactured with 3M™ Diamond Grade™ Prismatic Optics for maximum reflectivity. High retroreflection in dry and wet.
There are two models: without adhesive, and with built-in pressure-sensitive adhesive to facilitate application.

3M™ LDS Series 340 Delineation Systems for Steel and Concrete Barriers
These devices are panels made with 3M™ Retroreflective Sheeting laminated to thin gauge aluminum for linear reflecting of concrete barriers and metal railings.
A simple solution for temporary or permanent beaconing in danger zones, such as temporary detours due to works, curves, bridges or tunnels, with the aim of improving the road safety of the section.
Its “wavy” design allows to increase the performance of its extreme angularity.
Diamond Grade™ optics offer superior brightness and angularity
The linear delineation system’s unique mounting techniques allow for easy application. It can be mounted in various ways: with 3M VHB tape, with brackets or with anchor bolts.
