ADHESIVE TAPE 3M 7387 FOR SPLICING COILS. Double-sided adhesive tape for on-the-fly splicing of plastic film reels.
This double-sided adhesive tape is used for automatic splicing in plastic coil splicing. This is Flying Splice tape, 3M 7387, (later and improving on 3M 8387), and is special for use on surfaces with low surface energy (plastics).
New tape improved with respect to the previous 3M 8387, since being made of paper it can be torn by hand, and it also has a very competitive price.
Its characteristics are that it has a paper support on the lower side and rubber on the upper side, it has a total thickness of 0.337 mm, a shelf life of 12 months, and a construction similar to the Azure.

ADVANTAGES OF 3M 7387 DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE
The 3M 7387 tape has many advantages:
- Good adhesion to difficult surfaces such as LDPE. It has been tested on a wide variety of substrates such as polyethylene, PP, polyester, aluminum and paper.
- It makes reliable splices over time, at temperatures that plastics can withstand and at speed (from 100 meters to 600 meters per minute).
- The ribbon does not leave fibers that can contaminate the rollers or the printer (competitive products can release fibers that get stuck in the machines and cause stops for cleaning tasks)
- It is suitable for Comexi, Windmoller, Rotiflex, Olimpya, Holscher type machines.
- The entire tape has adhesive
- As it is made of paper, it can be torn by hand, so you do not have to use a cutter or scissors.
- It is easy to use and easy to apply
