The washi tape is the ideal solution for two-tone masking applications and other demanding paint jobs.
From yachts to trains, trucks and special vehicles: Tesa® Masking Tape 4342 is designed to meet the painting requirements of the shipbuilding industry and the transport sector in general.
The thin, smooth and conformable backing is strong enough to penetrate several layers of paint and leaves a perfectly clean paint edge. Even after long application times or high temperature baking (150 °C for 30 minutes), it can be removed without residue. Its acrylic adhesive offers excellent UV resistance and high adhesion: the washi tape adheres reliably even to rougher surfaces.
The washi tape can be used with water- or solvent-based paints or lacquers. Outdoors, it is weather-resistant for up to three weeks. Indoors, it can remain applied for up to two months while maintaining its residue-free removability.
